A note. A call. An act. A gift. A helping hand.
These are approved public notes. If the wall is empty, that is the truth of this moment.
When someone chooses to share, and a moderator approves it, their words will appear here. Nothing is published automatically, and private reflections never appear.
Sharing is not open yet. You can still name a gratitude privately on the home page. This wall is not accepting submissions.
Gratitude in action
Dawn’s Heart turns gratitude into action by helping people through life-changing hardship, mobilizing communities to meet immediate needs, and creating pathways toward greater stability, opportunity, and hope.
WAYGFT is the invitation. Dawn’s Heart is the charitable project. Cure on Wheels, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Donations designated for Dawn’s Heart are received by Cure on Wheels, Inc. Checks can be mailed now. WAYGFT does not collect payment information.

The story behind WAYGFT
Dawn’s Heart was inspired by founder George S. Bernardich’s journey after his November 15, 2023 diagnosis with Stage 4 lung adenocarcinoma, and by the support, prayer, and kindness he experienced.
His treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center and the support of family, friends, faith communities, physicians, and those who pray for him made gratitude a daily practice.
The question that followed was, “What am I grateful for today, and how can that gratitude help someone else?” Dawn’s Heart and What Are You Grateful For Today? grew from that answer.
The question began in St. Petersburg. Someone can ask it anywhere. The charitable work of Dawn’s Heart begins in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, and Tampa Bay.
